Vienna is popularly known around the world for best city in architecture. With many famous architecture site, one of its famous is Schönbrunn Palace. This Palace is declared as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in 1996.This is Austria’s most significant cultural monument.
Schönbrunn Palace has served as the summer home for Habsburgs. Considering history of this Palace tells us that this palace creation can be attributed to Emperor Leopold I. This Palace being in focus and court and political life has hosted many Europe’s leading statesmen. It’s ownership was given to The Republic of Austria in 1918 at the end of the monarchy.

There are 1441 rooms in the palace and only 45 of them are allowed for visitors (set as tourist attraction). There is uniqueness in every room, among one room called “MILLIONS ROOM“, with Palisander wood panelling the whole room is covered beautifully.

Outside the palace there are beautiful pieces of gardens known as Schönbrunn Gardens. its a large area with 1.2 kilometre in west to east and 1 kilometre in north to south. There are 8 manicured, symmetrical gardens known as Crown Prince Garden.
There is a beautiful lawn leading the way towards the Gloriette, which is crowned with mighty eagle perched on the top of globe. From here you have beautiful view of the palace.

If visitor wants to explore more of it you will find the amazing architecture work called The Palm House. It was the last one of its type in Continental Europe.
