FOOD AND CLOTHING CULTURE

Vienna and Melbourne being among the 2 most liveable cities in the world. They have many commonalities but are very much different on their food and clothing culture.

Vienna being only famous for Hungarian, Bohemian Jewish Italian and French cuisine. Thus, one can easily say that most of the items in menu are brought by letter ‘S’ like small goods, schnitzel, sausages, strudel, Sacher torte.

Melbourne is famous as a cosmopolitan city and hence have cuisine from different parts of the world. North and North-east side is famous for Vietnamese, Italian, Middle eastern and Spanish. Whereas South and south-east side is famous for Indian, Sri Lankan and Chinese cuisine.

Myself being not a much lover of non-vegetarian food gets a culture shock when I explore that in Vienna there is not much option for vegetarians, they can have only few things like breads, fruits, croissants and few other items. Whereas compared to my home country Melbourne there is a huge variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food because of itself being the cosmopolitan city.

The second main difference between these 2 cities is the clothing culture. In Vienna the Clothing wear is very small, we can see womens wearing the ‘dirndl’ which consists of close fitting bodice combined with different colours of apron. The hats are costly and elaborate. And Men’s wear ‘Lederhosen’ which is knee-length trouser or short pants made from leather and worn with rustic shoes with woollen socks.

Whereas in Melbourne the clothing fashion is way more vast and different, people wear clothes in a way to represent their individuality. Most famous is Black colour and long winter coats. As being cosmopolitan city it represent many different people and thus many different clothing fashion.

While exploring about Vienna it gives me culture confusion that is it many people wear traditional clothes or do they also wear normal formal clothes during parties.

There are 2 types of reviews for every event good and bad. There are many good reviews by saying that “good orchestra”, “good hospitality” and many more. But, there are bad reviews as well such as “during the time of entrance they line up every guest and open only 3 doors that too no ropes along them, where people all rush and create chaos near the door”. “Secondly no seat number allotted to guest on tickets, seating is first come first basis”.

Myself being very good in management skill love to do arrangement for such big events and make them successful. I would personally first meet all the other organisers of the event one day before the event and discuss all the important management points.

I would increase the number of staff members on the entrance gate and ask them to assist all the guest in proper section wise seating, which means the section which is in front all the guest of that section should on door 1 and whereas section C which is the last section that sections guest should be at gate 3, I would also give seat numbers to guest so that it is easy for them to find their allocated seat and sit according to that.

I would recommend the team of organisers to adapt this style of section wise doors for guest so that their is no chaos and the event is more successful with all guest being happy by attending the event.

By this way event will be successful and tourist can book ticket on the link below.
